Industrial Gear Oil (PAO Type)

Overview:

Sinopec 4408 Synthetic Heavy-Duty Industrial Gear Oil 680# (PAO Type) is formulated with a synthetic base oil and a variety of additives, including extreme pressure and anti-wear additives. This product is available in grades 100, 150, 220, 320, 460, and 680, based on kinematic viscosity at 40°C. 

Performance Characteristics:

◎ Excellent thermal and oxidative stability at high temperatures improves equipment's ability to operate at high temperatures, reduces sludge and deposits, and offers a service life significantly longer than conventional mineral oils.

◎Excellent viscosity-temperature performance and exceptional low-temperature starting performance make it particularly suitable for lubricating gears operating over a wide temperature range.

◎Low coefficient of friction reduces energy consumption on the gear surface during operation, lowering oil temperature rise caused by frictional heat generation, and ensuring proper lubrication of the gears.

◎ Excellent corrosion and rust resistance effectively inhibits corrosion and wear of components.

◎Excellent load-carrying capacity and anti-wear properties extend the service life of gearboxes.

Applications:

◎ Suitable for various heavy-duty industrial gear sets and other gears subject to vibration loads. Suitable for both circulating and splash lubrication systems.

◎ Suitable for gear lubrication under heavy or impact loads and low speed conditions, primarily using boundary lubrication.

◎ Operating temperature range: -40°C to 120°C, temporarily up to 150°C
